Her laughter was contagious and she loved to greet people with and wonderful "Heey Girl, Heey Sister, or Heey Brother or a simple "Heey, how you doing?!

The family were members of Piney Grove P.B. Church in Havana, FL where Tangie enjoyed singing in the choir, working on the food committee, and making sure the sanctuary was clean and ready for service each Sunday.

She enjoyed cooking for her family and others. Tangie was the owner of "Simmons Boutique" where she sold fashionable clothing and shoes, she had a line of Paparazzi jewelry that she often gave to mothers on Mother's Day.  She and Marvin also blessed the community as distributors of Farm Share until she was no longer able to continue.
