Shedron Verndell Knight (Shelt) was born June 12, 1964, to the late Johnnie Lee Knight, Sr., and Clara Mae Daniels Knight in Quincy, Florida. The fourth child of five. Sheldron was married to the late Elizabeth Brown Knight. He accepted Christ at an early age at New Jerusalem M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Elder William M. Maxwell, Sr. He was educated in the Gadsden County School District and proudly graduated from Havana Northside High School as a member of the Class of 1984. Sheldron worked various jobs and was lastly employed by May Nursey until he retired.

Sheldron enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and dancing. You could often find him watching the Price Is Right on television in the comfort of his home. Sheldron will be greatly missed for his affectionate hugs, jokes, laughter, the nightly prayers with his beloved daughter and the love and compassion he showed everyone he encountered. He leaves many to cherish his memory, one daughter: Keyshonda Knight, four siblings: Janice K. Knight, Annie L. Knight, Johnnie L. Knight, Jr. (Pauline), and Sherrie S. Knight-Pride (Antonio) all of Havana, Florida; and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
