Mrs. Magaline Swain Jones Hill aka Maggie, age 92 went to meet our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 14, 2024, passing at her son's home surrounded by loved ones. God decided He loved her best; she gained her angelic wings and journeyed home to be with the Lord. Maggie is now at peace living her eternal life in heaven and reaping the reward.

Maggie was born on October 25,1931 to her parents in Reno, Georgia, the late Beulah and Roosevelt Swain. Maggie attended Fallston High School in Maryland. She enjoyed being a housewife, nanny, and a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Oscar Hill (15 years of marriage), Alton C. Jones Sr. (30 years of marriage); three siblings, Freddie Swain, Roosevelt L. Swain Jr., Beulah Mae Swain-Spain, and three sons, Alton C. Jones Jr. (June), Henderson L. Jones (Hollywood), and Irwin Jones I (Peewee).

She leaves to cherish her family, four sons, Ronald Jones and Harding P. Jones, Havana, FL, Early L. Jones, Tallahassee, FL, and James E. Jones, St. Petersburg, FL; three daughters, Ruby D. Jones, Douglasville, GA, Barbara J. Davis, St. Petersburg, FL, and Gloria Ann Gibson, Tallahassee, FL; Brothers, Willard Swain (Maeyola), Villa Rica, GA,  Mike Swain (Sheila), Wesley Chapel, FL, and Steve Swain, Tallahassee, FL; Sisters; Stephanie Swain-Oglesby, Dedra (Lou) Swain, Tallahassee, FL; Beloved Daughter-in-law Rhonda Jones, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Maggie will be remembered for her dedication to her children and family, westerns, soap operas, news, and talking with loved ones daily.
