Obituary

Emanuel E. Jackson was born on December 28, 1977, to the late Debra Cynthia Lucille McNealy Washington and the late Emanuel Jackson. On May 2, 2026, the Lord called him home to eternal rest.

Emanuel was a dedicated and devoted man who lived a life full of purpose, faith, and passion. He completed his education through YouthBuild, graduating from the 12th grade, and went on to build a career with his hands, using his skills and craftsmanship throughout his life. Emanuel truly had a gift for building, and he took pride in every project he touched.

Emanuel was also a certified, top-tier culinary professional who found joy in cooking. He worked for several well-known food service companies before stepping out on faith and becoming his own business cook. He made sure that everyone had the opportunity to taste his delicious and heartfelt dishes, always cooking with love and excellence.

Above all, Emanuel loved serving God. He found great joy in going to church, growing in his faith, and walking in his purpose. He recently answered a higher calling by becoming an ordained minister, dedicating his life back to Christ and striving to uplift and encourage others. His faith was a guiding light in his life, and he now rests peacefully, sitting at the right hand of God.

Emanuel was not only devoted to his faith, but also to his family and community. He was a man who believe d in giving back, always willing to serve and support those around him. In his free time, he enjoyed drawing, cooking, and building expressions of his creative spirit.
