Alice Mae Kelly was born July 5, 1947, in Shorterville, Alabama to the late Corine Bines-Kelly. She was the gate keeper for many in the family by serving as the family baby sister for her nieces and nephews.

Ms. Kelly was a devoted mother, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend to many. Alice was a member of Old Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church for a period of time. She really cherished spending quality time with her sisters, Nancy and the late Isabella. They were considered the Trio and the golden girls. Her favorite song was the late Lee Williams singing a classic, "Cooling Water".

She attended public schools in the Gadsden County school system. She worked for many years at White Nursery and Mays Nursery. She later transitioned to being employed with Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and the Suwannee Swift Convenient store in Havana.

She leaves to cherish: her beloved children, Anthony McBride and Joyce McBride; grandchildren, Ashley McBride and Alexis Grant; and great-grandchildren, Janautica, Michael Jr., Jamya, Taniyah, Courtney, Kingston, London, Armani, and Makiyah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise Kelly and Corine Bines Kelly; brothers, James Kelly, Sr., Cartis Kelly, Sr., Eddie Kelly, Willie C. Kelly, and Robert Kelly, Sr.; and sister, Isabella Kelly Simmons.
