Obituary

Adrian Glen Andrews Sr., took his final bow on Monday, February 9, 2026, surrounded by the laughter, stories, and love of his family and closets friends.

A vibrant member of the Havana Northside High School Class of 1973. Adrian jumped right into action after graduation by joining the National Guard Armory. He was a man who truly knew the value of hard work and a pair of good shoes. After mastering the art of the Cobbler's trade he brought his own vision to life by opening the local favorite "Magic Shoe Repair." Even after transitioning to Florida State University, where he kept things running smoothly as a maintenance mechanic until his retirement, but that "magic" touch never left him.

When he wasn't working, Adrian was chasing the things that made his heart race. He found peace and excitement in the great outdoors, weather he was waiting for the perfect catch or in the woods hunting. Anyone who knew him knew about his DIE-HARD love for FAMU Rattlers. From Cheering on the football team or being moved by the sound of the Marching 100, Adrian bled orange and green through and though.

Adrian's commitment to service shown brightest in his community and his faith. At Richbay African Methodist Episcopal Church, he was a pillar of the congregation, serving with pride as a Trustee, a member of the Security Team, and a welcoming face as a Usher. He also carried the torch of being a member of the Knights of Pythias Havana Lodge 109. Following the path set by his father, Alex and Uncle Malachi, Adrian led with heart and honor as Chancellor Commander.

Adrian's vibrant spirit lives on through his devoted wife, Kimberly Andrews; his children: Caressa Andrews-Moye (Willie), Corpus Andrews (Deborah), Marlon Jones, LaKenya Andrews,Tiffany Andrews, Ashley Andrews and Adrian Andrews Jr. (Monee). His joy is carried forward by his grandchildren: Javonte Colston, Kamari Andrews, Dominic Andrews, Ahmad Jones, Dematres Jackson, Mya Willard, De'Aysia Jackson, Javonte Robinson, Serenity Meeks & Rilya Russ, Wreylon Moye; great-grandchild: Kaylin Jones. His beloved siblings: Norman McGriff, Carol Andrews & Ruby Thomas.

He also leaves to cherish his mother-in-law, Arlive Butler; Godsons: Dimitric Salters & Ahmere Johnson; God sisters: Gwen Blair, Deborah Jones & Alice Williams; sister-in-laws: Minister Pam Butler, Formeka Butler & Precious Butler; brother-in-law: Thurston Davis, Minister Edward Butler & Freddie Butler Jr., and host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

He is reunited with his father Alex Andrews, his mother Mary Williams Andrews & his daughter Patina Andrews.
